Rochdale and Bury Local Medical Committee (LMC)

Welcome to the Rochdale & Bury LMC website.

The LMC is a private organisation that is supported by recognised national organisation, namely, the British Medical Association (BMA) and the General Practitioners Committee (GPC). With the main office based in the centre of Bury the LMC supports local Practices with numerous issues from premises to human resource to service delivery. Working closely with the Primary Care Trusts across the 2 boroughs ie NHS Bury and NHS Heywood, Middleton and Rochdale, the LMC endeavours to ensure that any national or local service implementation is incorporated into existing local services with the appropriate resource and governance issues addressed.

The LMC would be interested to hear the views, opinions and suggestions from clinicans and residents across the boroughs of Rochdale & Bury to ensure that all existing and new services reflect what the public require and what can be delivered in the community.
